Much of what is helpful to know about me is covered here, where I describe aspects of my professional philosophy, background and training. Maybe good to add is some information on other facets of my life.
I spend a tremendous amount of time outside. I’m happiest in nature, moving. This likely colours my sense of what helps us as humans to discover joy, openness, beauty, and love or peace. I see humans as being a blend of animal-body, heart-essence, mind-intelligence, and something ephemeral, call it spiritual or soulful. I keep an eye to balance in my life; looking for movement and stillness, sound as well as silence, connection woven together with solitude.
My passion is the exploration of consciousness, looking to drop below the surface of life and come to know and feel the reality of being. I mix my work as a therapist with the experience of supporting individuals through their dying by way of hospice volunteering.
I also spend a good amount of time with words, reading and writing. I obviously love dogs. Food is great. Music is amazing. Laughter and friendship are centrepoints of my life.
Cheers.
